Yoga Chakras or Energy Centers
The 'yogic chakras' (also known as 'yoga Chakras' or 'energy chakras' or 'energy centers')are the centers of energy situated in the subtle body. They are seven in number. Each chakra is located along the spine, starting at the base and running upwards to the crown of the head. The Chakras are described as "whirling disks of light".
The Yogic chakras are not physical. They are aspects of consciousness.
All of your physical activities, emotional feelings, mental decisions, perceptions or senses all generate a specific amount and type of energy in the body and the world around. Each category fo energy can be associated with a particular chakra.
Though the energy contained in these chakras is not awaken fully. All the seven centers of life can be awakened in human beings with the help of asnas, pranayam, mudra, meditation and other yogic activities.

3. Manipura - navel area
4. Anahata - heart area
5. Vishuddha - throat and neck area
6. Ajna (pronounce in hindi as agya) - Brow or Third Eye area
